Proprietà straniera e dazi discriminatori ottimali in un regime di concorrenza oligopolistica

In questo articolo esaminiamo le problematiche di politica commerciale inserendo il caso del paese importatore con proprietà straniera nel modello di esportazioni in concorrenza per osservare come questo influenza la configurazione dei dazi discriminatori. I risultati hanno evidenziato che: 1. Quando la porzione di azioni della ditta esportatrice posseduta da investitori interni è simmetrica, la politica commerciale ottimale può essere un sussidio all’importazione e il paese importatore fornirà un sussidio maggiore alla ditta esportatrice con un minor costo di produzione; 2. Quando i pacchetti di azioni del paese a minor costo marginale posseduti da investitori domestici è sufficientemente alto in un equilibrio asimmetrico, il paese importatore imporrà una tariffa minore sulla ditta esportatrice con un minor costo di produzione e senza miglioramenti di efficienza produttiva, mentre una tariffa diminuirà ulteriormente o diventerà un sussidio con il miglioramento dell’efficienza produttiva.
